Fluevog Grand National; timeless & edgy style, and comfortable engineering & fit.

Le Gallop fit like all the other boots, booties, and shoes in the Grand National's family;

size up one full size from your street size. (Or go with your usual Fluevog size).

If you wear thicker socks, foot pads, insoles, heel cusions, or toes pads (etc), you may want to consider sizing up one additional size from your typical Fluevog size (or two sizes up from your street size). (There are no half sizes).

The key to wearing these is all in the lacing. Make sure your heel is all the way in the back of the heel cup, and then lace these up SNUGLY around your ankle, and over your arch. This will keep your foot from sliding forward, and keep your foot bed firmly in synch with your ankle and calf muscles, making these comfortable and stable to walk in. (Re-check the snugness of the lacing prior to each wearing, as the leather and laces will stretch ever so slightly.)

My ultimate fluevog shoe so far! Surprisingly easy to walk in, splendid splendid splendid.

Phil from our Toronto Distillery store says:

Le Gallop fits small and short, so we recommend sizing up to ensure your toes have wiggle room! They also have quite a bit of pitch, so we’d recommend wearing them with toe pads.
