Gastown is the more historic part of Vancouver. When I was growing up in Vancouver, we used to come down here all the time. But then in the late 80s and 90s, Gastown lost its flavour a little it almost lost its place in Vancouver. Then recently in the last five or six years there s been a huge resurgence in Gastown with retail, living, eating and drinking, but there s still room for more.
