DC boasts many technically skilled and professionally established photographers and a diverse creative community, for sure; I'm just one voice of eyes. I grew up here, good parts and bad, learning from both and loving/hating along the way as I seek what DC means to me and how that relates to America and the rest of the world. The gray space where introversion meets earnest desire to connect and contribute is where I discover my sense of humanity. Writing about it, photographing it, making art...those are as much learning processes for me as they are my secret love and thank you notes to life.
