John is no stranger to Edmonton. He first opened a store in the historic City of Champions way back in the 80 s when we were all listening to Madonna and Michael Jackson in our ripped jeans and Jheri curls. Now, after a far too long hiatus, he is happy to announce that his unique soles will be returning to the Albertan capital with the opening of a new Fluevog Edmonton store on Whyte Avenue!
Located across from the Princess Theatre at 10330 82nd Ave NW, the new Edmonton store is a refreshed heritage building with original brick walls from the 1920 s. The space will be furnished with reclaimed wood, touches of brass and a slew of custom pieces including lighting by Matthew McCormick, a tiled entranceway and leather couches crafted from materials featured in some of John s most recent shoe collections.
Edmonton has always been at the top of our long list of cities where we ought to have a store, so we re pretty delighted to finally be opening at a great space on Whyte Ave. said John.
A city brimming with so many unique souls can t go without unique soles for very much longer! Fluevog Edmonton is set to open in April 2017 and we plan to celebrate with festivities, fanfare and, of course, a few grand surprises.
